The natural and peaceful status of this force is when all alignments allow for attraction. In such a status, there is no conflict. Everything is settled and fitting together. However, in an electrically charged atmosphere, this peace may become disrupted, causing alignments to spin, creating the repelling force. And as anyone who has played with magnets has observed, when you try and touch one to the other against the repelling force, all they want to do is spin or move toward the attraction alignments. It is conceivable, then, that these two forces, when unbalanced in an atmospheric medium, would display the same properties of spinning to find the attraction alignment. This could cause a chain reaction of repel-attract-repel, because there is no solid piece of stone or metal with which to adhere. The magnetic forces would then continue to spin as each attempt to align with attraction encounters repulsion because the forces are now constantly on the move. As the magnetic force continues to find and repel itself, and because the attraction and repulsion forces are exactly equal, this would appear not unlike a vortex when occurring in an atmosphere of water vapor. The struggle would be even and constant, creating a stable area that is charged with both attraction and repulsion in equal and even measure.
When electricity and magnetism come together, you get the kind of electro-magnetic forces which can severely disrupt the modern electronics of sea and air craft, and well as the compasses on which they rely for navigation. And what would be the effect on such a craft should one encounter a swirling vortex of opposing and attracting magnetic forces?
If the stories from eye witnesses in the Bermuda Triangle are to be believed, then this phenomenon creates a linear tunnel comprised of those equally matched magnetic forces. One eye witness claims to have been pulled into one of these vortexes, and within 3 minutes, had traveled a hundred miles before being freed of the effect. Two more eye witnesses claim to have seen such a vortex seemingly created by another object, which then entered the vortex, as if having created it for the purpose of travel.
If this is true, then there are several more questions to be asked. If a vessel comprised of metal were to enter such a vortex, would it then become part of the phenomenon? In a magnetic situation, the metallic vessel would logically move toward a magnetic force, no matter the alignment. But if it’s moving simultaneously toward opposing forces, then it’s logical that the vessel would be held dead center. Since the phenomenon was witnessed as a vortex with an opening, the direction of entry would not contribute to the effect, as it is open to non-affected atmosphere.
This would then dictate that any vessel near the opening of the vortex would be pulled into it by the simple laws of magnetic attraction. Once inside, however, it would be held dead center of the tubular conduit buy equally opposing forces on all sides. Would it then remain stationary? Or would it be drawn somehow down the length of the phenomenon to emerge from the other end. This would seem likely, due to the eye witness that took just such a journey off the east coast of Florida.
Can a vortex of this nature be compared to the same vortexes that occur in tornadoes, hurricanes and waterspouts? I say yes. These are all naturally occurring meteorological phenomenon that are common and well documented. And because these vortexes are created by dueling atmospheric pressures, it’s not too outrageous to imagine that a similar vortex can be created under the right conditions involving dueling magnetic forces, since these forces are similar to pressure. Pressure to push together and pressure to push apart. When water vapor is in the air, you can see this magnetic cyclone. When not, it’s invisible.
Why then does this phenomenon have such a paranormal reputation?
1) It seems that the magnetic vortexes only occur in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of the southeastern United States, down into the Caribbean and Puerto Rico, extending approximately 800 miles out to sea.
This is no reason for jumping to supernatural conclusions. Tornadoes are also region- specific phenomenon that happen no where else in the world. The Atlantic basin could just be an area that is geographically “right” for the existence of this very particular type of storm. This could be due to the shape and mineral make-up of the Earth’s crust in that area. It could also be due to a large convergence of the Earth’s natural magnetic currents – much like a whirlpool in water where two currents meet. Any of these very natural and common geographical properties could be responsible for the atmosphere of that area to contain a higher concentration of magnetic energies than most other places on the globe. The poles would have similar concentrations, but they do not have the volatile electrical storms that so frequent the Bermuda Triangle area. One thing this area does have in common with the poles, however, is the appearance of strange, colored lights in the sky.
2) Being pulled into one of these conduits is like experiencing time travel (note the eye witness who traveled 100 miles in 3 minutes).
When playing with magnets, one can get the sensation that the pushing and pulling forces of magnetism may be frictionless. There is no actual physical contact against one magnet that pushes it against the other, and no physical contact that pushes them apart.
Imagine laying out a length of plastic on which you wish to slide. Take a good long run, then hit the plastic. If the plastic is clean and dry, you won’t make it very far. Indeed, you’ll likely end up with some abrasions for the effort. For the next attempt, put water on the plastic. This time, you would manage to slide. But water, not being very viscous, still doesn’t make for the smoothest trip. Lastly, coat the plastic with Vaseline. This time, you’ll find the trip very fast and smooth.
For a trip down a magnetic conduit, you wouldn’t even have the slipperiest substance you could think of hindering your ride, because the vessel would be touching nothing. A vessel could reach free-fall speeds and perhaps more, with the pulling/pushing action of the magnetic forces at work. And because these forces are affecting your body in equal measure, it’s possible you wouldn’t even experience any G-force. Therefore, the 100 mile trip would be over in say…three minutes? It would seem like time travel, simply because if you are an hour away from Miami at 12:00, then you should logically arrive there at 1:00. If you arrive at 12:03 instead, then you’ve traveled 57 minutes back in time. With no friction or pressures to damage the craft, and no G-forces to tell you that any traveling had taken place, it would seem as though you’d traveled through time.
Subject a magnet to the sudden presence of another, aligned to repel. See how fast that magnet moves away. Now, imagine how fast it might move if it didn’t have a table surface to deal with. Imagine still further the power you now feel in these small magnets, magnified a thousand-fold to illustrate the power one might experience when all the magnetism of an entire region begins swirling and pushing/pulling at itself. How hard and fast could it push a commuter plane…and to what distances? Imagine if we could harness that power to propel planes, ships and other vehicles all over the world, instead of burning any kind of fuel.
3) What about all the craft that have gone missing completely, without a trace, instead of coming out the other end of the vortex somewhere, like the 100-miles-in-3-minutes guy?
Ahhh, well here’s where it gets trickier and jumps into quantum physics and presumptuous theory. In the study of the phenomenon of the Bermuda Triangle, many have come to assume these vortexes are wormholes, defined as a tunnel in space that matter can traverse through. It works in four dimensions with time being the fourth. It connects two points in the universe.
Is it possible that the properties which create wormholes are those that exist in the Atlantic basin? Does swirling magnetic forces, coupled with electricity cause wormholes? In the case of the 3-minute man, he entered and exited his vortex here on Earth, as if he’d slipped into it, traveled through the tube very quickly and came out the other end. The only property that time had in this case was that, just like Vaseline on plastic, he was able to traverse the distance faster than he’d have normally been able to manage with the propulsion equipment on his plane. He didn’t travel through time. He just ran instead of walking.
But might his vortex have been a mild one? What if a stronger one could have made him go even faster? What if he’d made the trip in one minute instead of three? What if it had taken just one second? What if he had traveled so fast that it had gotten him there in a negative time measurement? Say…3 minutes prior to him slipping into the vortex in the first place? Here are some possible scenarios.
1) The plane would not have reappeared at all. Some theorize that time travel and dimension travel are the same thing. Since two of the man and his craft cannot exist at the same time, his plane could not have emerged and co-existed with its counterpart for the 3-minute overlap. Where could he have possibly gone then? Another dimension where there’s not already one of him taking up space.
2) The plane would have reappeared, co-existed with its counterpart for 3 minutes, and when the three minutes brought him back to the instant he entered the vortex back out at sea, it would have come full circle and sent him back in again, thus causing a “time loop” from which he may not be able to escape. This would be unlikely, because at certain intervals, someone’s radar somewhere would have detected 2 planes in the air for 3 minutes at a time.
Or would it? Our measure of time is just that. A measure. It doesn’t define time. Would the two planes reappear every 24 hours for the crucial three minutes? Or would it be more like waiting for some as-yet-undiscovered, quantum physical properties to align exactly as they were at the time of the loop before the two planes would be visible again. It would be like waiting for planets to realign exactly as they were at one point or other...which takes millennia. If this is the case, where would the man and his plane be in the meantime? Would time even pass for him? One thing’s for sure – whenever conditions were right again, it would be well in the future of the time when he entered the vortex. Decades. Maybe even centuries. If time doesn’t pass for him as he’s tucked snugly away in limbo, then appearing again would be an effective way to time travel into the future. But he’d need to know how to break out of the loop when he got there or else risk his future vacation lasting just three short minutes before he was sucked back into the void to await the next window of opportunity.
But lets get back to all those other people who went missing. Could their vortexes have been so strong that they traveled fast enough to come out the other end, not just three minutes behind themselves, but many decades behind themselves? This individual would then not have the opportunity to catch up with his future self, and so the loop could not happen. Could some of these people have been sent so far back in time that they lived out the rest of their lives there?
As documented in the communication recordings from many of the vessels that disappeared without a trace, most reported that their compasses began spinning. Since the compass needle aligns with magnetic North, spinning magnetic forces would logically result in the needle following the that force…thus spinning like the vortex. So it would stand to reason that these people did indeed encounter magnetic vortexes. But even if they had ended up emerging hundreds of years in the past, we would know about it today. History would have recorded flying ships and sea-going vessels of futuristic design. Not to mention, many of these people would have been intelligent enough to try and make their presence known to future generations. But, with the possible exception of artistic evidence pointing toward the existence of UFOs at the time of ancient civilizations, history has recorded no such phenomenon.
So, with this in mind…as well as the documented claim of the 3-minute man’s journey not only in time, but over a distance of 100 miles, then it is reasonable to assume that not only are the magnetic vortexes capable of time travel, but spatial and plain old linear travel, as well.
Since most of the people who have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle have never turned up anywhere – or anywhen – else, then we must consider the possibilities that these magnetic vortexes are capable of the properties outlined first by Albert Einstein in 1915 then later re-calculated by quantum physical scientists all over the globe.
Wormholes. Tunnels in space that matter can traverse through. Conduits that can transport you from point A to point B, without having to muck about with all the empty space between. Inter-planetary, inter-galactic highways and bypasses. But is this possible? When we see a tornado, we can view its very finite physical structure from top to bottom. It you were to enter the eye of a tornado at the top, and could avoid touching the sides on the way down, your journey would last no longer than it took to hit the ground.
If the vortexes in the tropical Atlantic are similar meteorological events, it would be logical that their physical structure would be just as finite. So how could an earthbound magnetic cyclone spit you out somewhere near the Horsehead Nebula? Can the forces of magnetism and electricity combine with other quantum elements and circumstances to create conduits that can reach from Earth, through the shell of Earth’s atmosphere, and across vast expanses of space? If so, how is it possible for even a cyclone made of energy to form over such vast distances.
More likely – and at the same time even less likely – these vortexes do not extend in any linear sense that we might be able to envision. Instead, in their smaller stature, they may actually bridge the unfathomable curtain that separates parallel dimensions or realities. The space/time divider.
Imagine a regular, twelve-inch ruler as a measure from 1 (our location in the Milky Way Galaxy) to 12 (a planet located in a distant galaxy). This ruler would represent our planet, solar system, galaxy, universe and all of creation as we know it and can now perceive it. By conventional means, to travel from one to twelve on our ruler would be a very long, linear trip. But when you consider the existence of other dimensions/alternate realities or parallel universes, you could imagine a stack of rulers, all lying flat against one another. The trip would be much shorter from our location to say…two on the ruler just beneath ours – even though the journey would be considered a far greater undertaking than going from one to twelve on our own ruler.
But there are no known means by which to go from one ruler to another. Indeed, it hasn’t even been satisfactorily proven, except through mathematics, that any other rulers even exist. Yet most of the world’s top physicists agree that they do, and so this is one possible answer for where at least some of the people who’ve gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle may have ended up. Though their condition upon arriving there, or staying there for any length of time, would be even more uncertain.
