THE FERTILITY STICK
This piece of driftwood was found almost as-is in the woods around Carvin's Cove. With a little sanding, wood burning, staining and glazing, I carved very little on this already-amazing piece. It's 41 inches long. The head is a fierce dragon. At the lower end of the stick...a howling wolf. The length of the stick features no less than five animal phallic symbols, and there is even a feature representing female genatalia. See the next four photographs for close up details of the features adorning this piece.

DRAGON HEAD OF FERTILITY STICK
The eye is Swarovski Crystal. This face appears only on this side of the stick. The opposite side is featureless, as the wood is shaped very differently there.

WOLF HEAD OF FERTILITY STICK
This feature appears at the opposite end as the dragon head, and is about the size of a quarter.

ANIMAL PHALLUS OF FERTILITY STICK
All 5 of these features are naturally shapped with sweeps of wood that appear to be the furred base around the extended phallus. This phallus rests perfectly between two wooden features that appear as hips.

FEMALE GENITALIA OF FERTILITY STICK
Another natural formation that completes the ingredients needed to make this piece a balanced symbol of fertility.

DELUXE WHITE KNOBBED WIZARD STAFF
THIS ITEM NOT FOR SALE. PICTURED HERE AS AN EXAMPLE
This seasoned piece of bleached white driftwood was found in this natural formation along side the creek that runs through Greenhill Park in Salem, Virginia. With a little more bleaching for design, some stain and gloss, it didn't take much to turn this already-amazing stick into a beautiful wizards staff. But this stick was a rare find. Many more of my staffs do take a bit more work, and may not look as grand, but they still look pretty darn good, and they start at just $45.00.
I will be inviting people to sign up on a waiting list for any future finds of amazing sticks like the one pictured here. Email vickieholt@cox.net to sign up, or to inquire about purchasing one of the regular models. Please keep in mind that deluxe models will be much more expensive than the $45.00 regular models. If I were selling a staff comparable to the one pictured here, it would be at the very least $80.00. Since it's part of my personal collection, I really couldn't part with this particular staff for less than $200.00.

WIZARD'S STAFF WITH QUARTZ CRYSTAL
THIS ITEM NOT FOR SALE. DISPLAY ONLY.
This staff was made for my brother-in-law, and cradles a quartz crystal in a bowl at the top created by the wood's natural formations. The wood is treated, stained and glazed, and the fist-sized crystal completes the image. This is another example of a deluxe staff for which you could sign up on the waiting list!
